Betty Jane Harper Adcock passed away on February 3, 2016. Born in Huntsville on June 14, 1944, she graduated from Huntsville High School and The UAH School of Nursing. She was retired from the VA Clinic in Huntsville.

She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Adcock Hutchinson; grandchildren, Cassidy Hutchinson, Callahan Hutchinson and Cayla Hutchinson; sister, Sue Harper Garrison; brother, Tommy Harper (Susie); numerous nieces and grandnieces; and a nephew and grandnephew.

Betty Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth R. & Walter T. Harper, Jr. and brother, Arville L. Hipp, III.

Special thanks to Drs. Richard Clay, Sean Groark, Trey Corley and the nurses and medical staff at Huntsville Hospital CVICU for the special care she received.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, 2:00 pm at Maple Hill Cemetery with Reverend Darryl Goldman officiating.
