Bill was retired from the Madison County Commission. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, who had a love for boating and Auburn football. Survivors include his wife Linda S. Cobb; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Michelle Cobb of Columbus, Ga., and Charlie and Leslie Cobb of Huntsville; brother, Al T. Cobb of Nashville; and three grandchildren, Hayden, Jacob and Matthew Cobb
