Carole Corthell Baker

I moved to California in the summer of 1968 to pursue an acting/comedy career. Performed in several plays and worked in Aerospace for many years (Cape Canaveral/Boeing (Huntsville) and Litton Data Systems, Van Nuys, Ca. I am semi-retired now, but maintain my Nanny job. Have worked for the same family for eight years. Have no plans for the future, but will probably move to Redding, Ca. to be closer to my daughter. My brother Larry Corthell lives in Virginia, sister Lynn lives in Clearwater, Fla and older brother Jerry Duncan lives in Albuquerque, NM. All graduated from H'ville High School.

Wow! Where do I begin? The girls in my group had a club called the "Le Petites" and met about once a month. My best friend Peggy Erskine's dad owned the old Erskine Bakery in the Mall. All of my buddies used to hang out at the cemetery near downtown Huntsville. It was always spooky with many weird stories to tell. I loved to go Ice Skating on Fri/Sat nights. Hanging at Bobs Big Boy was something to do in those days. Was an exceptional typist and worked for Boeing Aircraft during my senior year. Halloween was our big "let's do something to get into trouble" time; and we managed to do so, getting caught every time.
