Martha Buck

Greenville - Martha Jo Buck, 76, wife of Don Buck, Jr., died Thursday, July 1, 2021.

Born in Tulsa, OK, she was the daughter of the late Harris and Ethleen Haynie Moore.

Mrs. Buck was a member of Brookwood Church.

In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by her three children, Cynthia Brown and husband, Cedric, Craig Buck and wife, Julie, and Meredith Gowens and husband, Eldon; nine grandchildren, Buck Brown and wife Claire, McKenna Bradford and husband, Mark David, Mary Caroline Buck, Cole Buck, Martha Ellison Smith and husband, Chad, Mallory Brown, Anna Grace Gowens, Mac Brown, Griffin Gowens; brother, Tommy Moore and wife, Beverly.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Mickey Moore.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 07, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Brookwood Church followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Learning Centers of Greenville County at clcofgreenville.org.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on upcoming plans. With the holiday weekend, we will have to push the service to Wednesday, July 7. We are planning to have visitation from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 pm…all at Brookwood Church. Graveside service will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park.

Don, Sorry to hear of the death of Martha Jo. Please know of my prayers for you and family as you walk the path ahead without her. Our hope is in Christ, and He promised it would be only a temporary separation.
